 Chevening scholarship is one of the most prestigious fully funded scholarships provided annually by UK government’s international scholarship scheme. How to apply

Eligibility

• Be a citizen of a Chevening eligible country
• Return to your home country for a minimum of 2 years once the program has ended
• Having at least 2 years (2800 working hours) of work experience
• Applied to three different UK universities and have received an unconditional offer by one of those by 13, July 2023

Ineligibility

• Hold British or dual British citizenship
• Hold refugee status in a non-Chevening eligible country
• Previously studied in the UK with a funding from the UK Government scholarships
• Employee/Former employee/Relatives of an employee of Her Majesty’s Government
• Employee/Former employee/Relatives of an employee of Chevening partner orgainsations

Courses

Candidates are requested to select three fulltime degree programs under the scholarship program. Your application is interviewed in the successive order and you will be offered with the best suitable option.

You will not be permitted to change your preference list once the application is submitted.

For the purpose of awarding the scholarship, you have to have an unconditional offer from a university for one of the choices you listed.

You can select three different programs at different universities, but the course content of the programs must be similar and relatable with your future objectives.

Courses must be:

• ü  Commencing in the autumn term
• ü  Full time
• ü  Taught master’s
• ü  Lead to a master’s degree qualification

Courses cannot be:

• ü  Part time
• ü  PhD
• ü  Virtual learning
• ü  More than 12 months duration
