What you’ll be offered:
- The university promoter will receive a bench fee of € 310 per month for research
- A stipend of € 8,000 to cover operational sots and travelling costs
Eligibility:
- Be a citizen of an eligible developing country
- The joint proposals must be submitted by a candidate, a supervisor at Ghent University and a supervisor at a partner university
- Research areas can be selected freely. But, preference will be given to development related research areas
- Only full time doctoral degree following students can apply. Exchange students are not permitted to apply
- Female researchers are more encouraged to apply

- An advice on the candidate, emphasizing the supervisor’s opinion on the ability of the candidate as a future researcher.
- An advice on the ethical and biosafety factors of the proposed research project
