Federal Commission of Scholarships for Foreign Students. The scholarships are
offered in 4 types.

- Swiss Government Excellence Postdoctoral Scholarships
Available scholarships are provided under 2 main categories.
Program:
Masters/PhD/Research/Postdoctoral studies
What you’ll be offered:
- Waived off application fee
- Monthly stipend
- Financial support for research studies
Eligibility:
- Be a citizen of a country listed in the eligible country list
- Applicant must not be residing in Switzerland for more than one year
- Candidate should have a letter of acceptance from a Swiss University
- Candidate must be eligible to study in Switzerland
- Must possess a bachelor’s degree with good grades for masters studies
- Must possess a masters degree with excellent performance for doctoral and postdoctoral studies
Documents to be submitted:
- Letter of Motivation
- CV/Resume
- Two recommendation letters
- Research plan of maximum 5 pages using the FCS form
- Typed and printed FCS form with a photo
How to apply:
- Candidate must first apply for a masters/doctoral/postdoctoral program at a Swiss University
- Submit the required documents and research work
- Candidate needs to find a supervisor from a Swiss University at own choice
- The supervisor must be belonging to the research area of candidate
- Candidates are requested to make direct contact with the supervisors
